Apparel sourcing questions

Plan your next collection

What does Textillery do?

Textillery is an apparel sourcing team in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We coordinate product development, fabric sourcing, samples, production follow-up and quality inspections for clothing brands and buyers.

Which products can I source?

Our catalogue includes knit and woven clothing, T-shirts, polos, denim and non-denim bottoms, sweaters, jackets, kidswear, accessories, leather and jute products, and fabrics and yarns. Explore the product groups or send your requirements.

What should I include in a sourcing enquiry?

Share the product type, tech pack or reference, fabric composition and weight, quantity per style and colour, size range, target price, delivery destination and required delivery date. You can start with an idea if the specifications are still being developed.

How are minimum quantities and lead times agreed?

Minimum quantities and delivery timing depend on the product, material availability, construction and finishing requirements. Send your brief so we can discuss suitable options and confirm quantities and timing for your project.

Can Textillery coordinate quality inspections?

Our local team follows production and coordinates fabric and garment inspections, including final quality checks before shipment. Agree the inspection scope and acceptance criteria with us for your order.

What specifications are shown for each product?

Every catalogue item has an indicative specification covering styling and fit, fabrication, composition, weight (GSM), construction, trims and branding, sustainability options, performance finishes, sizing, packing and typical testing. These are typical ranges for discussion; the final specification is agreed at sampling.

Can I estimate the cost of a garment myself?

Yes. Each product has a Do your own costing button that opens a costing worksheet where you can enter fabric, trims, labour and overhead to estimate a garment cost before you send your enquiry. Final prices are confirmed in a written quotation.

Which sustainable material options can be discussed?

Depending on the product, options can include organic or BCI cotton, recycled polyester, Tencel or lyocell blends, low-impact dyeing and washing, and recycled or plastic-free packaging. Each claim should be backed by the relevant certificate and supplier scope before it is used on a label.

Do you develop children's products and what safety checks apply?

Yes. Kidswear is developed around age ranges, fit and trim safety. Typical checks include small-part and drawcord rules, azo-free dyes, restricted-substance limits and needle detection. The tests required depend on the destination market and are agreed in the brief.

Can you work from a sketch, photo or sample?

Yes. Send a sketch, reference photo, existing garment or tech pack with the fabric, quantity and target market. The team develops patterns and samples, then confirms measurements, materials and finish before bulk production.

Can Textillery source fabrics, yarn, bags and handicrafts as well as garments?

Yes. Alongside clothing, the catalogue covers fabric ranges and structures such as jersey, rib, terry, piqu\u00e9, fleece, twill, poplin and denim, plus jute bags, woven baskets, mats and wood-effect home products. Share the material, size and finish you need.

How should I request a particular certification?

Tell us which material or factory certification your buyer requires. The relevant certificate, scope and validity should be checked for the selected supplier and product before an order is confirmed.
